Longbowman.
Scale 1:8.
Height with the stand 25.5 cm.
Lost wax casting.
Patination.
Here I tried to show English archer (longbowman), putting
on the string, flexing the stave around the thigh.
The English were the first who used such length of yew bows, so this bow
is called English.
The recommended length of the bow consisted of the archer height plus four
inches (10 cm).
This bow enabled long distance shooting, but the tension force reached 120
pounds (50 kg), which is more than double the force in modern sports
bows.
